Loneliness onlineThe Internet, particularly social networks, are like most things a double edge sword. In other words, it can be used for good and it can be used for evil. As Christians God asks us to share the Gospel of the 3 Angels’ Message in Revelation 14:6-12 and the internet is a great tool to share this with little effort or money. Obviously we at Righteousness is Love Ministries use this tool to share this everlasting gospel. But the Internet can also have a very negative impact on how we behave with each other. The following 4.30 minute video explains the connection between social networks and being lonely.

The Innovation of Loneliness

Though we need to be praying daily and studying the Bible to overcome any loneliness, God also gave us the church so that we will never be alone, despite what is going on in the world. We can all go to a place every Sabbath (Saturday) and share our problems or joys with people who have something in common.

Some biblical Promises to help with Loneliness:

Psalms 51:10-12 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Psalms 34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Hebrews 4:15-16 For we have not an high priest which can not be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
