Newsletter No. 5 – Updates

It has been a wonderful last couple of months. First, we would like to say thank you to all the people who have blessed us with prayers, time and financially – without you we would not be able to share the Gospel of the Three Angels Message to Ireland. The website is up and running and we are receiving more hits than we expected, with over 14,000 visits thus far: Also our pamphlets have been going to houses of Newcastle West and Newmarket-on-Fergus and all through Limerick. Soon we will be standing in the streets of Limerick to give out pamphlets, giving as many people as possible the opportunity to receive a free Great Controversy. With regards to the giving away the Great Controversy, we have acquired the domain name This, we pray, will reduce the hindrance for non-Christians from coming to our website.

As stated before the Website is going strong and coming into shape, though we have a long way to go. In the meantime, we have posted some new interesting articles for you to enjoy:

Exposing ‘New Light’:
There is a growing trend of today Christians to follow what they call “New Light”, but is this truly new light and truth or are they just traditions of men? click here

The Sacred Name Movement:
Does it matter what name do we call God or Jesus? Is it a salvational issue? Or are we rather called to represent His character on this earth. This sacred name movement has been around for a while now. We look into this issue and expose the error. click here

The Ceremonial Feasts Movement:
The ceremonial feasts were and are a great teaching tool for us today, but do celebrating them in this present time take away the glory from God and exalt human reason? Is it a salvational issue? Click here.

The Holy Spirit Force Movement:
Though the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy don’t present particular details on the nature of the Godhead as they don’t consider them salvational, there are some clear understandings of this topic that just cannot be messed with. Unfortunately there are some that have come into our churches that have distorted this truth. Click here.

Café ‘Emerging’ Church Exposed
The ‘Café Church’ has been around for a couple of decades now, but are they working and what are the fundamentals of this evangelistic model? Can this model and true Christianity work along each other? Click here.

We do have more exciting news but this news will have to wait until the New Year, so please keep on following us on our website, there will be plenty of new posts added.

May God bless you in your walk in the Lord.

Take care and God bless,

Righteousness is Love Ministries

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Matthew 5:6.

Righteousness is holiness, likeness to God, and “God is love.” 1 John 4:16. It is conformity to the law of God, for “all Thy commandments are righteousness” (Psalm 119:172), and “love is the fulfilling of the law” (Romans 13:10). Righteousness is love, and love is the light and the life of God. The righteousness of God is embodied in Christ. We receive righteousness by receiving Him.  {MB 18.1}

Newsletter No. 3 – “Spiritual Formation, The Omega?”

Dear Friends in Christ,

In this newsletter God has put it on our hearts to share with you several materials and links on a phenomenon called ‘Spiritual Formation’. Though it bears its roots in spiritualistic practices of Ignatius Loyola (who has later become the head of the Jesuit Order) and Roman Catholic monks over centuries, it has been rapidly entering our churches and institutions around the world.  This teaching doesn’t come in into our churches as very obvious though – a real ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’. The proponents of it vastly quote the Bible and the Spirit of Prophesy and claim that the practices of the Spiritual formation, such as going into silence, emptying of the mind, contemplative and centering prayer, lectio divina, labyrinth walking and other mystical exercises and divination tools are the very means of getting people transformed into the character of Christ in order to disciple communities into a vibrant, love-filled, exuberant religion and thus attract them to Jesus. While on the one hand they may speak of a total surrender of ‘self’ to God, they at the same time ‘lead to help you connect with your own spiritual reality'[i]. Sounds like two conflicting ideas, doesn’t it.

We have noticed that the adherents and promoters of the Spiritual Formation practices among Seventh Day Adventists tend to segregate and see the SDA believers in two distinct classes: those who believe in the Historic Adventist mission to proclaim ‘the three angels messages’ to all the world through distributing the ‘Great Controversies’ by Ellen White and carrying forth the torch of the Adventist pioneers, and those who would tailor Christianity to the needs of the post-modern community and focus on the basic truth of relationship with Jesus, rather than ‘answering questions that nobody seems to be asking’ [ii]. According to the Spiritual formation believers, the former group has gone cold, formal, legalistic and spiritually lifeless, and its members need to experience a fresh breath of spiritual newness.[iii] Ultimately, this ‘spiritual newness’ spoken of here, is nothing but a mystical experience of finding the god within, the hidden glory of God in us that lies at the centre of our being and needs to be discovered.[iv] Sounds like Eastern Mysticism, doesn’t it? What can a self-centred, subjective and based on feelings experience, derived from emptying one’s mind and chanting a word or a Bible verse repeatedly all over again have in common with the Biblical truth, whereby God calls us to actively and intelligently engage in the study of His Word which leads us to realise our own sinful condition and seek a practical remedy in the gospel of Christ (Isaiah 1:18 & Acts 17:10, 11).

No matter how enticing the spiritual formation (also renamed as ‘Biblical spirituality’ or ‘Contemplative spirituality’) may be, no matter how well it may be coated in the biblical language and claim to be the means of transformation into the character of Christ – it yet misses one crucial  thing, and thus fails a test of God’s Word. Namely, it preaches NO repentance for sin, of which Paul speaks in 2 Corinthians 7:9-11 as ‘godly sorrow that worketh repentance to salvation’.  Consequently, if one has failed to surrender all to Christ and received NOT a gift of repentance, and thus hasn’t been made a new creature with the law of the living God enshrined in the heart, which is manifest in the outer outflow of God’s love and righteousness, if one hasn’t had a true experience of conversion and righteousness by faith, true victories over sin in own life, true experience of sanctification, would he or she not seek something else to make up for the lack? Hence, Spiritual Formation – truth mingled with the deadliest error in a most subtle way.

Some faithful SDA pastors who have been studying and fighting the infiltration of the ‘Spiritual Formation’ into our churches and institutions, believe that it could well be a beginning or part of the ‘Omega Apostasy’. This had been revealed to the Spirit of Prophesy to be taking place among the remnant church at the very end of time, of which she has been warning us with great fear and trembling. In the First Selected Messages she writes:

Living Temple[v] contains the alpha of these theories. I knew that the omega would follow in a little while; and I trembled for our people.’ {1SM 203.2}.  The spiritualistic theories regarding the personality of God, followed to their logical conclusion, sweep away the whole Christian economy. They estimate as nothing the light that Christ came from heaven to give John to give to His people. They teach that the scenes just before us are not of sufficient importance to be given special attention. They make of no effect the truth of heavenly origin, and rob the people of God of their past experience, giving them instead a false science.  {1SM 203.4}

The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being removed, they would place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation would be built on the sand, and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure.  {1SM 204.2}

Then I heard a voice saying, “Where are the watchmen that ought to be standing on the walls of Zion? Are they asleep? This foundation was built by the Master Worker, and will stand storm and tempest. Will they permit this man to present doctrines that deny the past experience of the people of God? The time has come to take decided action.”  {1SM 204.1}

And so, we would encourage you to examine all evidence for yourself by studying the following links and articles on spiritual formation. May God help us and give us discernment to separate truth from error, and to stand upon the truth though the heaven may fall:

–        Mark Finley on Spiritual Formation, its practices and roots, and how incompatible it is with the biblical truth;

–        Pastor Rick Howard sermons, who has done extensive study on the subject to warn the believers of the deadly effects of this satan-inspired deception. He speculates that it may well be part of the Omega Apostasy. Pastor Rick Howard with a background of practising Eastern meditation and Budhism before he came to the truth – has also written a Book called ‘The Omega Rebellion’ – a powerful expose of Spiritual formation every Adventist should know;

–        Also a document is attached with an in-depth study done by Pastor John Witcomb, whom Rick Howard mentions in his sermon as one of the truth warriors – it’s an extensive compilation of resources on Spiritual Formation that has crept into the remnant church in all its shapes and forms.

–        The Lighthouse Trails Research Project website has been dedicated to exposing the apostasy of the spiritual formation in the past 10 years, filled with wealth of material and research on Spiritual Formation, it also has a database of articles on Spiritual Formation, and a list of its proponents;

–        A doctor of Ministry course on ‘Discipleship and Biblical Spirituality’ is advertised at the Andrews University website. The course was renamed from ‘Spiritual Formation’ as this name has brought a lot of strife and debate, and today all who question whether this is an authentic Adventist teaching are told that ‘In academic circles the expression spiritual formation is a synonym for spiritual growth toward godly maturity, or the process of Christian discipleship and sanctification.’,

–        President Ted Wilson at his inaugural address also gives a strong warning against spiritual formation;

Refer to 4 Minutes and 12 seconds:

Just a final note, we may be totally unaware that a next brochure we pick up at our church will contain some hints at Spiritual formation practices as constructive for our spirituality and evangelism; or a next sermon we may hear may offer us some new exciting ‘tools’ towards transformation, or a next retreat we may visit will be lecturing on ‘Lectio divina’ instead of its regular Sabbath school class.  Unsuspecting we may be, let us not perish in ignorance. All this is real, and it’s out there, and it is coming to our churches, and its goal to lead your soul into perdition. Please, watchmen on the walls of Zion, do not slumber!

Newsletter No. 2 – The Return of A.T. Jones

Dear Friends in Christ,

I hope you are well and safe especially after the start of the change in the calender year. We pray that the truth in the following article will bring us closer in our walk with the Lord and hasten His coming.

 The Return of A.T. Jones.

I think most of you are wondering why we would use ‘The Return of A.T. Jones’ for the title. Why one  would take a name of a historic and faithful preacher of the Seventh Day Adventist Church who preached the 1888 message and mix it with the entertainment industry’s most infamous movie called Starwars; The Return of the Jedi.

The 1888 message had left the church in a decision whether to choose Christ our Righteousness, which “is the third angel’s message in verity” (1SM 372) or to continue down the path of self-righteousness. It is no doubt, had the church chosen the former (Christ our Righteousness) we would not be here today as the character of Christ would be fully represented in Gods people in receiving this message (Rev 18:1). In stark contrast and in opposition to the 1888 message stands the entertainment industry, which Satan has been using as a tool to destroy the moral foundation of many nations as well as the faith of many faithful believers.

A few weeks ago something amazing had happened, in fact, what we believe is a miracle that has put a wound to this horrible industry. There is a TV sitcom show on the prime time television, an utmost disrespectful show that promotes adultery, sexual lust, lying, drinking, covetousness, and jokes, many times about Christianity, a show that no Adventist or Christian should watch (but unfortunately many do) called Two and a Half Men. Not to go into too much detail but just to explain a little bit to save you the trouble of seeing this horrible show; the show is about 2 men (originally 2 brothers) who raised up an 8 year old (when the show started) child named Jake. One of the men the father, is a weak stature of a man, divorced and a bad example for any man especially a godly man. The other man, the brother (until a year ago), is a sick perverted man, bringing home different women each night, constantly drinking and joking about the rudest things. But the main focus of this article is on Jake also known as Angus T. Jones or shall I say A.T. Jones. Angus started his part in the show in 2003 aged 10, and now having turned 19, he has spoken out against the show and the Entertainment Industry in a 30 min interview/testimony. This testimony of Angus T Jones has gone viral, with the second half having reached over 2.3 million lost souls. These lost souls heard the truth not only about how ‘filthy’ the show is, but many of the truths that the Seventh Day Adventist Church teaches, especially the Sabbath. I pray that you will take your time to watch the testimony in the links below;

Part 1:

Part 2:

Over the last one hundred years, the devil has been using this entertainment industry to destroy moral lives but now God has an arsenal built up (which of course Satan attacks every day and is in need of our prayers). Over the past 4 and a bit years Svetlana and I have seen God building up faithful preachers and ministries standing up and speaking for the truth. Teaching their listeners how Satan has spread his tricks in the entertainment industry. Here are some of them:

  • – Brain Neumann, though unfortunately fallen from grace, he has provided us an amazing insight on the impact of ungodly music, like ‘Contemporary Christian Music’,  on our minds and ultimately on our faith –  Voices of a Dying Planet.
  • – We also think of Derrol Sawyer, one who has a similar series (not online yet) but also has provided some beautiful music for us to safely listen to;
  • – Christian Berdhal also has an amazing testimony. Coming from an entertainment background He shares his understanding of the music industry;
  • – Ivor Myers is another insightful preacher, popular with the youth and one with another powerful testimony and insights of the music industry;
  • – Little Light Ministry, a group of friends who show in documentary style seminars the tricks of Hollywood by exposing the gnostic teaching of many movies, cartoons, comic books and computer games, where many are misled into thinking that Christ’s character is as Satan’s and Satan’s – as Christ’s;

And now we have Angus T. Jones. Though young, he has shown all of us how to stand for the truth – a stand that will undoubtedly have him losing out on a $350,000 per show salary, while not many of us are willing to give up a job, a few extra dollars and/or the comforts of friends and/or family for the truth.

Please pray for Angus in this tough time and pray that he will make the right decision for his future with the show and acting.

We have shared with you a number of resources and we pray that when we hear some new truth regarding music, TV and computer games, we will receive it with a humble heart and let the Lord work in us the change of taste and habits. In these last days of the Anti-Typical Day of Atonement we desire all to be ready to stand firm for the truth though the heavens fall.

Take care & God Bless

Newsletter No. 1 – Righteousness is Love in the End Times

Welcome to the first newsletter for Righteousness is Love Ministries. If you don’t know Daniel Wilson & Svetlana Wilson (Lomako) are setting up a Self-Supporting ministry to help spread the true Gospel of Jesus Christ (Righteousness by Faith) to all the world, first to the Jews then to the Gentiles (Romans 1:16).

Based in Ireland the intent of this ministry is to sell books aligned to this Gospel, through door to door evangelism and eventually on the web. We also want to share thought provoking sermons, articles and Bible studies through the medium of email and eventual blogs on the website.

This newsletter was sent to your email because you have faithfully provided your email address to us personally or God has allowed us to meet in the past. Please note that this is a subscription based newsletter and it is about free choice so feel free to write back to unsubscribe and we are sorry for the inconvenience. Also feel free to forward it on to the people you love the most and who would love to hear the truth.

The first article:

We came across this sermon series and we thought this would be the perfect first article for Righteousness is Love Ministries. To truly love this Gospel you must first build a solid foundation on the right premise, as our special gift for this time, the Spirit of Prophecy (SoP) states; Men fall into error by starting with false premises and then bringing everything to bear to prove the error true. In some cases the first principles have a measure of truth interwoven with the error; but it leads to no just action; and this is why men are misled. 7 T 182

The following link will lead you to this series;

Dennis Priebe – Righteousness by Faith in the End Times

If you enjoyed these sermons on the true Gospel which makes the Adventist message distinct, there are 2 more, a more modern version of the first part of the series and a new sermon by Dennis Priebe;

Dennis Priebe – 1 “Protestant or Catholic?”

Dennis Priebe – 2 “Face to Face with the Real Gospel”

In these sermons Dennis Priebe reads a section from a book called Servants or Friends by Graeme Maxwell, A powerful statement on the true Gospel:

God works like an infinitely skilful physician, He can save and heal anyone who trusts him, He is not at all satisfied when we come to His office just to be forgiven. He proposes to bring us to the place where we won’t have to ask for forgiveness any more. He offers to heal that place where people do their thinking, and then they won’t violate those rules anymore because they don’t even want to and all their bad habits are gone. To some that sounds ominously like perfection, to many servant believers that is the ultimately burdensome requirement, servants see it as a command, and friends see it as a promise.

Friends don’t want God to settle for anything less. Would you ask a physician not to heal you completely? Would you say 75% healing will be quite sufficient, thank you!? To servants who think of salvation as dealing with their legal problems, perfection is yet another requirement. To friends who think of salvation as healing for the damage sin has done, perfection is an incredibly generous offer. Servants want to be completely forgiven; friends want to be completely healed. About that matter of perfection, the heavenly physician might call after us as we walk away from His office, ‘don’t worry about it I so designed my universe that it is a law; people become like the person they worship and admire. If you really stay as my trusting friends, perfection will come, I’m not saying that you won’t struggle anymore but the struggle won’t be the same. Servants struggle to overcome sin by trying to stamp it out; friends get rid of sin by crowding it out with the truth.

We pray that this has been a blessing to you, as we exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Hebrew 3:12

Take care & God Bless
